Parish Trip to Sight & Sound

September 24
The St. Edmond Bus Trip will be Wednesday, September 24, to see Noah at the Sight and Sound Theatre in the Lancaster area. The bus will leave St. Jude’s parking lot at 7:15 a.m. with a rest stop on the way and will arrive for the 11:00 a.m. show of Noah at the theatre. This production of Noah is set in Mesopotamia, in the early history of the Bible, around 2300 BC. We follow Noah as he begins to build the ark, through the voyage of the ark during the flood, and its aftermath.
Following the play, we will go to Hershey Farm, next door, for their traditional buffet that includes appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, including heritage Amish dishes, carving stations, bread/baked goods and dessert. There will be time to visit the adjoining gift shops before we leave.
On the way home, there will be a stop at Kettle Kitchen Village to visit the various shops. We expect to return to St. Jude’s parking lot by 8:30 p.m.
Brochures with additional information are available in the Church and the Parish Office. The cost for the trip, including transportation, Noah the play, the smorgasbord, Kitchen Kettle Village, gratuities and snacks on the bus is $160 per person. Please register in the Parish Office before the trip is filled. Call Connie Benko if you have any questions – 302-227-5407.
